GREAVES 3YWM, 34 BHP@ 1500rpm

The Greaves [formerly Ruston & Hornsby (India) Ltd.] 3YWM Mk.5 Marine Engine is a traditional style engine, constructed in India using modern production techniques but with the same robust design features as earlier engines produced in the UK.

Units are normally available only to special order, with a delivery time of approximately 10 weeks and are fully PDI'd in the UK prior to despatch to the installer. As with all engines supplied by us, a free first (50 hours) service voucher will be exchangeable with-in 150 miles of Northampton.

The brief specification is as follows:-

3 litre, 3 cylinder, 34 BHP at 1500rpm. tick-over at 600 rpm.

Water-cooled with pump and thermostat, suitable for keel cooling.

Raised hand and 12 volt electric start. 24 volt option.

The engines also benefit from several traditional features, including Brass rocker covers, copper water pipes and full instrument panel. A full 12 months manufacturers warranty and UK based after sales support. These engines offer a traditional alternative to modern, vehicle derived engines and are suitable for the larger, heavy displacement or working boat.

The retail price of the engine, as specified above, is £5250 + VAT

Engine and PRM 260 gearbox package: £6500 + VAT
